Duration: 2 years

The Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM, Marseille) and the Laboratory for Instrumentation and Research in Astrophysics (LIRA, Paris) are inviting applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position on high-contrast instrumentation for exoplanet observations, starting by the end of 2026.

This position is proposed within the project AMINO (Advanced Multi-spectral Imaging using Novel wavefront sensors with Optical photon-counting detectors), funded by the PEPR Origins under the France 2030 programme.

The successful applicant will perform research in wavefront sensing in polychromatic light for high-contrast observations with future large observatories. The project will be carried out between Marseille and Paris under the supervision of Dr. Arthur Vigan and Dr. Axel Potier.

Description and application.

Applications sent before Friday 12 June 2026 at 23:59 CET will receive full consideration.

Best regards,
