We invite applications for a fully funded PhD position on “Adaptive Optics for Kilometer-Scale Free-Space Optical Links in Infrared Interferometry.” The project aims to develop an adaptive optics system capable of stabilizing a near-infrared stellar beam over 1–2 km horizontal propagation, paving the way toward kilometer-scale optical/infrared interferometry. The PhD is embedded in a strong international collaboration between LAM, ONERA, MPE, PUCV and Apical.
